EPDM rubber strips have good wear resistance and are also known as ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber strips. EPDM is an abbreviation for EPDM. This raw material can be considered a synthetic rubber.

1. EPDM rubber strips have good wear resistance and are also known as ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber strips. EPDM is an abbreviation for EPDM. This raw material is a synthetic rubber. Its main components are butadiene (CH2=CH2) and PE (CH2=CH-CH2). After introducing a third component, it becomes EPDM rubber strips, essentially a saturated polymer.

2. Excellent aging resistance. Even after three years of exposure to strong sunlight, no cracks were found.

3. Chemical resistance. It has extremely strong resistance to various toxic compounds (such as acids and alkalis), and its properties remain largely unchanged even after prolonged exposure.

4. Excellent impact elasticity and high resilience. 5. Remains stable under low-temperature conditions (hardens at -57°C and becomes brittle at -177°C).

6. Good resistance to high-temperature aging. Generally, it can be used for extended periods at 150°C, and can withstand intermittent applications up to 200°C, with relatively slow physical degradation.

7. Good insulation properties. Resistivity remains excellent even after immersion in water.

8. EPDM rubber strips possess excellent temperature resistance, better than most conventional rubbers. Good resistance to ozone aging (in tests, it cracks after 2450 hours in a substance containing 100 PPM of active oxygen; styrene-butadiene rubber develops large cracks within 534 hours; neoprene rubber develops gaps within 46 hours).
